Everyone in the family can enjoy a summer camp music festival. It is grand event for musicians and music lovers to enjoy four days of music and several fun summer activities during this time of year. It’s not only a music festival, it also has a kids camp where there are various activities for kids and parents alike. There are numerous activities that are done to help promote a child’s creative thinking. Examples of these activities are: jewelry making, face painting, water fun, and different arts. Coordinators make sure that there is something for everyone regardless of their age. This event radiates a wholesome feeling that is contagious. You will find strangers helping out strangers regardless of their differences. This kind of summer camp music festival brings the community together to celebrate music. This is the main reason why these fun summer activities are successful today.
The first ever summer camp music festival happened in June 23, 2001. It was a co-promotion between Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment and Jam Productions which was intended to bring music lovers together and enjoy it as a whole. It had a relatively small line up of 15 bands and lasted for only two days. From then on the festival just kept growing and growing to the nationally recognized event it is today. The most recent summer camp music festival had one of the biggest set-ups in the festival’s history. It had over 10,000 attendees listening to music from 60 different bands across 5 stages. Organizers say that the last music festival was the most successful among all past festivals.
