What is gluten allergy? This is a medical condition that refers to the sensitivity to food items with gluten content. Gastrointestinal tract problems are among the common manifestations of gluten allergy. Intolerance or sensitivity to gluten containing foods could be manifested by any individual. Gluten is essentially a compound of two protein substances, which are identified as gliadin and glutenin. Wheat, rye, oats, and barley are food sources that are rich in gluten.

Among the reason why people are having gluten allergy is because of severe body disease, physical injuries, traumatic shock, and heredity.
What are gluten allergy symptoms? There are different gluten allergy symptoms, and these could differ from person to person. Sometimes the person could manifest no symptoms at all especially for mild gluten allergies. If the signs and symptoms are present, they could either appear right away after the consumption of foods with gluten or several hours after eating gluten.
